OOPS

It's 11:00PM and I just set off my RV's security alarm, and it takes 2 min for me to stop it. I'm waiting now to be thrown out of the park. On a good note, Carol drove for 2 1/2 hours today

Our First day in an RV park

We got into our first RV park just at closing. I'll take pictures of the park tomorrow due to it being too late(dark) to do it today. Well another big day for us in driving our RV for a whole day on super highways We stopped at Cabelas for gas($127) and lunch for two in our RV($2). We figured we saved $25 on lunch, so we just need to save $102 somewhere between now and the end of our trip to make this trip profitable.

I can't believe I'm doing this!!!!!!

After getting my coordination down, I finally drove a stright line and didn't fall off - Praise the Lord. Unfortunately our camera fell off the tripod and broke from the wind, so Frank's picture didn't come out - he sure looked confident on that hi powered scooter - what a guy - I'm buying him a Harley scooter shirt haha..............love ya all............
Speaking of RED. That's Carol practicing on the scooter. Notice that she never took the kick-stand out of the way. She did great, unlike me she didn't fall once. Unfortunately, our camera that was on a tripod did and is inoperable. We practiced at the church parking lot and was caught by two of our good friends, Bob & Shannon. Funny thing, they both took our picture with their cell phones. They mumbled something that sounded like Ripley's.

Well we're FULLY packed and about ready to go. Carol, just needs one more day! She's been telling me that since Tuesday. But we have reservations for tomorrow in Dayton, Ohio. A good friend of ours has suggested the AF Museum as a must see. I believe he flew with the Red Baron in a bi-plane.

Getting Close to Leaving

A ton of things to do yet, but hopefully we leave before May 1st. Our feelings have changed from total excitement to concerns as to are we ready to leave(have we remembered everything, such as turning off the paper, mail, phone,etc.. Oh yes, we are still mapping out our trip and not one reservation has been made.
